Jesus Christ the Messiah rose from the grave 2,000 years ago to save us from the wages of sin. His sacrificial death and resurrection mark the beginning of a new life in the Kingdom of God—a life that begins with repentance and faith. The Ekklesia was formed, and the followers of Jesus spread the Good News of the Gospel to a dying world.
Over the last 1,800 years, a system of programming has been applied to all who would listen. This programming was the concept of “religion” and the institutionalization of the faith. Today, we live in an age driven by religion, the traditions of men, and the doctrinal “dos and don’ts” established by esteemed religious leaders over the course of time.
Religion has been used for thousands of years to manipulate and control the populace. It has been driven into our understanding that we should not question authority or “go against the grain,” and that if we do, we are disorderly and out of line. It is deeply ironic to observe that Jesus Christ of Nazareth was a “rebel” who called out religious leadership and challenged the status quo with Truth—yet so many today refuse to see or embrace this Truth.
