GOD LOVES US ALL!

Do you know that Jesus came to seek and save the lost regardless of their color, culture, language, nationality, status, history or location?

We all need salvation because none of us are good whether we admit it or not.

We do not have to clean ourselves up and get right in order to be saved. We just need to humble ourselves and repent of our sins and believe that Yehshua Hamashiach (Jesus the Messiah) is able to pay the full price for the remission of all sin.

HERE ARE THE FOUNDATIONAL TRUTHS THAT WE MUST START WITH

  1. God created the Universe and everything in it. He loves us very much in spite of whether you believe that or not!
  2. All of mankind is in a fallen, sinful state because we are born with a sinful nature. This nature is a result of our free will and the initial influence to serve self rather than serve our Creator—a disposition passed down to us from generation to generation. We are all in need of salvation because we are all born into sin.
  3. God hates sin because it separates us from Him, and He has declared that the wages of sin is death. Religion, philosophy, or just “trying to be a good person” does not save us from the judgment of our sin, regardless of what school of thought or religion we choose.
  4. Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah) is the only begotten Son of God (born of God’s Spirit). He came to pay the wages of sin and provide our salvation by laying down His perfect and sinless life as the payment for all who believe in His atonement. When we receive His payment as our own by asking Him to be our Lord and Savior, we escape the judgment of our sin and become children of God by adoption. We cannot earn salvation by good works or by being a good person; salvation is by faith alone and is a gift from God, extended by His grace and mercy.

Congratulations if you have made it this far! I thank you for taking the time to read all that you have to this point. I hope that you are willing to continue to the remaining pages of this site to find out more amazing truths. I pray that the Holy Spirit of God ministers revelation and understanding to you as you continue, and that you are able to receive the truth and be set free from the law of sin and death! Thank you again, and may Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah) bless you!

The creator of the universe and all that is in it provided “The Way” for mankind to know him personally.

John 14:6 – Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John+14%3A6&version=AMPC

But mankind generally rejects “The Way” that God provides because it does not suit their desires and wants. “The Way” that God provides is considered by most to be inconvenient and difficult because they do not want to walk on the narrow, hard road that Yeshua spoke about. They would rather choose the easy path in life that allows for indulgence in sin.

The sad part is that for the sake of cruising life’s easy road, they are missing out on getting to know their Creator and experiencing His Grace, Mercy, Peace, Joy, Love, Power, and, most importantly, His forgiveness in their lives. They also miss out on eternity with God when they die.

THIS WILL CHALLENGE YOUR UNDERSTANDING OF CHRISTIANITY AND FOLLOWING JESUS

CORE PRINCIPLE TRUTHS

  1. Yeshua HaMashiach is the Living Word of God who became flesh. He came to provide a final payment (atonement) for the sin of man so that we could be reconciled with God the Father (Yahweh). We receive His payment as our own through sincere repentance—requesting forgiveness and turning away from our sinful way of life—and by believing in Yeshua HaMashiach as our personal Lord and Savior. By trusting that He paid the full price for our forgiveness through His death and resurrection, we receive the gift of grace and mercy from Yahweh.
  2. We must be born again to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. This is the miraculous work of regeneration performed by the Holy Spirit of God (Ruach HaKodesh). When we receive Jesus Christ (Yeshua HaMashiach) as our Lord and Savior and repent of our sins, the Holy Spirit (the Comforter) comes to live within us and reveals the truth of God’s written Word. He also renews our minds and changes our hearts to become more like Yeshua as we live for Him and serve Him instead of ourselves. Being “born again” is not a religion! It is an experience that God wants all who desire to know and serve Him to encounter.

THERE ARE MANY RELIGIONS TODAY – DO WE ALL WORSHIP THE SAME GOD?

Definitely not! The many gods of the different religions of our world are not the same. There is only one Creator of the universe and everything in it. We do not get to choose what we call Him or how we worship Him; He has declared the way in which He is to be known and worshipped.

A breakdown of 1 God in three persons of the godhead.

There is one God who created the universe and everything in it. This one God exists in three persons. You may ask how God can be three persons in one, but you must understand that He is God, and He can do whatever He wants!

Realize that each person has a specific purpose. Most refer to this as the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. While the word “Trinity” does not occur in the Bible, it is the term most commonly used to refer to the three persons in one God that we know and serve.

One God with 3 persons clearly visible in the scriptures of the Bible:

Genesis 1:1-2 & 26
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters. 26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness, to rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, and over all the earth itself and every creature that crawls upon it.”

Matthew 28:18-20
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

God the Father in Scripture:

Matthew 23:9
9 And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven.

Isaiah 64:8
8 But now, O LORD, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You are the potter; we are all the work of Your hand.

Ephesians 4:4-6
4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

God the Son in Scripture:

John 1:1-3 & 14
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made. 14 The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Luke 10:22
22 All things have been entrusted to Me by My Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him.”

Colossians 1:15-20
15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in Him all things were created, things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning and firstborn from among the dead, so that in all things He may have preeminence. 19 For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, 20 and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through the blood of His cross.

God the Holy Spirit in Scripture:

John 14:15-17
15 If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. 16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you do know Him, for He abides with you and will be in you.

John 14:25-26
25 All this I have spoken to you while I am still with you. 26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have told you.

John 15:26
26 When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father—He will testify about Me.

John 16:5-15
5 Now, however, I am going to Him who sent Me; yet none of you asks Me, ‘Where are You going?’ 6 Instead, your hearts are filled with sorrow because I have told you these things. 7 But I tell you the truth, it is for your benefit that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. 8 And when He comes, He will convict the world in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment: 9 in regard to sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 in regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will no longer see Me; 11 and in regard to judgment, because the prince of this world has been condemned. 12 I still have much to tell you, but you cannot yet bear to hear it. 13 However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come. 14 He will glorify Me by taking from what is Mine and disclosing it to you. 15 Everything that belongs to the Father is Mine. That is why I said that the Spirit will take from what is Mine and disclose it to you.

Because The Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) lives in us once we are born again, we become living temples of Almighty God!

In the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) dwelt above the Ark of the Covenant, which was kept in the Holy of Holies within the Tabernacle and, later, the Temple. This sacred space was maintained by the Levite priests, who were the only ones authorized to handle the holy items. Anyone else who dared to touch the Ark would die. The same Holy Spirit of God who inhabited the Ark of the Covenant then, now lives within the followers of Jesus Christ today. We are the walking, talking, living temples that God intended to indwell.

What does “Be Filled With The Holy Spirit” mean?

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE ARE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT?

WE ARE COMMANDED TO BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT – Ephesians 5:18

Summary

John MacNeil’s The Spirit-Filled Life emphasizes that being filled with the Holy Spirit is an essential, distinct, and commanded experience for every believer. This fullness is different from the new birth and must be actively claimed after cleansing and consecration of the heart. The filling is both a crisis and a continuous process that results in boldness, fruitfulness, and effective ministry. The early church’s model shows filling often follows conversion and is necessary for victorious Christian living. Maintaining the fullness requires obedience, continual feeding on Scripture, and faith. The Spirit-filled life inevitably leads to opposition but also to great power and joy. MacNeil’s ministry and writings remain a significant call to Christians to live fully empowered by the Holy Spirit, restoring biblical teaching and experience on this subject for spiritual revival and effectiveness.

Key Conclusions

  1. The Fullness of the Spirit Is the Birthright and Command of Every Believer
Every born-again Christian is entitled to and commanded to be filled with the Holy Spirit. This is a distinct experience from conversion and essential for victorious Christian living and effective ministry.
  2. Receiving the Fullness Requires Preparation of Heart and Faith
The believer must cleanse the heart from known sin, consecrate fully to God, and then claim the fullness by faith, trusting God’s promise without hesitation or unbelief.
  3. The Filling Is Both a Definite Crisis and a Continuous Process
The Spirit’s filling can come suddenly and repeatedly, as needed for specific service, but also is meant to be a continuous, habitual state of fullness, resulting in an overflow of spiritual life and ministry.
  4. The Spirit-Filled Life Produces Transformative Courage and Fruit
Being filled with the Spirit enables believers to overcome fear, live holy lives evidenced by the fruit of the Spirit, and engage in effective ministry despite opposition and persecution.
  5. Maintaining the Filling Requires Ongoing Obedience and Faithfulness
The fullness can be lost through disobedience, neglect of the Word, or unbelief, but restoration is always possible by repentance and renewed surrender to God.
  6. The Early Church’s Experience Is a Model for Contemporary Christians
The New Testament church’s emphasis on immediate filling after conversion, Spirit-empowered service, and reliance on the Spirit’s power is to be recovered and practiced today for revival and effective witness.
  7. John MacNeil’s Ministry Exemplifies the Spirit-Filled Life
MacNeil’s life and preaching underscore the importance of the Spirit’s filling as foundational to Christian service and revival, highlighting the continued relevance of this teaching.
