These are the core beliefs that we hold to
We believe that the books of the Bible were inspired by the Holy Spirit of God, as men of faith were chosen by God to write the words of God. We also believe that the Word of God is fully understood by the same inspiration of the Holy Spirit that inspired those who wrote the words. It is the The Holy Spirit (The Comforter) who leads and guides us into all truth and reveals all truths to us (2 Timothy 3:15–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21).
We believe that there is one God who exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. These three are one. Many refer to this as the Trinity, though the word Trinity does not appear in Scripture. The term was developed to reference the triune Godhead, and it is exemplary of that same unity (1 John 5:7).
We believe in the deity of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the Messia, in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death (the final and complete payment for sin by His shed blood), His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His coming return in power and glory. We believe that Jesus Christ is the living Word of God who created all things, and that all things were created by Him and for Him (John 1:1–5, 14; Colossians 1:15–20).
We believe that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. Jesus is the only way to connect with our Heavenly Father through the saving power of His sacrificial death and resurrection. We also believe that the regeneration of the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential (we must be born again) (John 14:6–11; John 3:3–5).
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit through the indwelling of the Bible-believing Christian. The Holy Spirit enables and empowers us to live a godly life, to overcome the desires of the flesh, and to grow in the knowledge of God and His Kingdom through studying the Scriptures (John 16:5–11; Acts 4:1–5; Acts 2:1–4).
We believe that the Body of Christ (the Ekklesia) is called by God to be separate from the world and its ways. We believe that we are chosen by God because of our response to His gift of grace and mercy through His Son’s gift of salvation, and that we are called to be a light in the world’s darkness and salt to the earth. The things of this world are at enmity (intense hostile opposition)with God and are temporal and persishing. They are distractions and pitfalls for humankind, manipulated by the ruler of this current dark age “Satan” and they are used to lead us away from a life that glorifies God. We understand that no one can serve two masters. The purpose of the Ekklesia is to love and serve the Father and to love and serve one another (Matthew 5:13–16; 2 Corinthians 6:14–18; Ephesians 5:1–17).
We believe that the end times spoken of in the Word of God—especially in the Book of Revelation—are now upon us, and that the enemy of our souls “Satan” is growing in strength daily because God is allowing him to do so. We are approaching the rise of the Antichrist and his one-world government system. Our focus is on praying for the salvation of souls rather than praying for personal comfort or material gain. These wordly desires are being stripped away from us daily as part of God’s preparation for what is to come. We are prepared to endure persecution, even unto death, for our faith and service to Jesus Christ. We will not compromise our faith or the preaching and teaching of the true Gospel for any reason (Matthew 24:1–50; Mark 13:9–36; 2 Corinthians 11:3–4, 13–15; 2 Timothy 3:1–8; 2 Peter 3:1–13).
We believe that it is irrelevant and fruitless to argue and fight over doctrines such as the rapture and the millennium reign. These issues have no bearing on our salvation or our relationship with God, though they can sadly affect our relationships with one another. We refuse to let such controversial subjucts divide or distract us from what is most important. Therefore, we believe we must be ready for the Lord’s return at any moment and willing to endure to the end with the strength that God provides through the Holy Spirit (Matthew 24:42–44; 2 Timothy 4:1–4).
We are true believers of the Bible and followers of Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ). We are the Ekklesia, the called-out ones by Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. We are disciples of Jesus Christ because we obey His commands (John 14:15; 1 John 5:1–5).
We are children of God and members of His Kingdom, believing in the power of Jesus Christ’s atonement for and remission of all sin, fully paid for through His death and resurrection (Isaiah 53:5; John 3:16–18; 1 John 2:1–6).
We understand that we are all required to participate in the Great Commission by sharing our faith with all who will listen. This is not optional but a responsibility of every believer. This calling is not limited to clergy but extends to all believers as part of the royal priesthood, with Jesus Christ as our High Priest (Matthew 10:7–8; Mark 16:15).
